    Seasonal Biscuits for Halloween and Diwali

    Our colouring in Day of the Dead biscuits have been a huge hit this year. With lots of bright packages being sent out and a few of our corporate clients ordering them in to the office with edible ink pens and colourful icing tubes, we have had such lovely feedback on these designs.

    Logo Biscuits Supporting a New Brand and to Celebrate A Milestone Birthday

    “The biscuits went down VERY well…everyone was delighted to receive them!”

    We have a few different ways of reproducing logos onto our delicious biscuits. We can print them, pipe them or emboss them.
    This year we have worked with a some great companies to emboss their very familiar logos into simple, white icing and the results are fantastic!

    Boots were looking to promote the new Boots No7 Beauty Company as the parent brand for their incredible beauty brands – No7, Liz Earle, Soap & Glory, Botanics, Sleek MakeUP and YourGoodSkin. We created simple white gift boxes with a biscuit for each of the brand names. These biscuit boxes were then sent out as part of their communications strategy. Simple, effective, memorable and delicious!

    BBC World News were looking to create en edible gift to celebrate their 30th birthday. We worked with them to create a bespoke gift box including these wonderful logo biscuits. The impact of the logo embossed into the icing is so effective, and of course the biscuits absolutely delicious!

    England Netball – Vitality Netball Superleague tournament

    We were delighted to be asked to create a locker room biscuit gift for every player in the Vitality Netball Superleague tournament. The impact of Covid on indoor, contact sports has been terrible, so managing to play and host the Superleague was an incredible accomplishment by all involved. The manifest behind the tournament was RISE AS ONE VICTORY AS ONE. We created a bespoke, on brand biscuit gift box for every player and press involved in the event to celebrate these incredible athletes and the team behind them that enabled this brilliant tournament to go ahead. 

    The biscuits were a hit AND were also tagged on social media giving further reach to #riseasone

    And finally… 

    We have continued to make bright, happy, tasty, memorable biscuits throughout the year. As a small business, I love the range of biscuits we work on from large companies to individuals – big marketing campaigns to an individual thank you.   • Happy New Year – A Biscuity Review of 2020

    So here it is…2021 so a Happy New Year to you all. After a lovely Christmas break, the real world is back with many returning to work this week. It is a little different to normal though with many schools closed, tier 4 across many parts of the country, and a general feeling of ‘When will this be over…?’

    January can be hard regardless of global pandemics. So read on to see some happy biscuits to brighten your day. We know biscuits don’t fix things, but they really do make everything a little bit better!

    Corporate Biscuits & Classes

    It’s always so hard to choose my favourites over a year. We have gone from a brilliant icing class (yes, actual people in a room making Valentine Biscuit cakes back in early February) through to biscuits for Captain Tom when his autobiography came out. We also made the biscuits for the launch of Barack Obama’s book, A Promised Land (YES WE CAN), the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Nick Sharratt’s stunning illustrations for You Choose Fairy Tales.

    Personalised Biscuits

    Some people did manage to get married this year. We were so happy to make their wedding favours, and it was a privilege to work on the photo cookies people sent to family they couldn’t see this year.

    Our gingerbread men had a slight upgrade this year to include masks, and we sent so many ‘Cup of Tea and a Biscuit’ packs out to staff working from home to help keep them feeling connected and boost morale (read our blog for how successful these have been to remote and furloughed staff!)

    Colour in your own Christmas jumper (quite a few Zoom Christmas parties!),

    Rainbows, rainbows, rainbows and more rainbows (we have made hundreds!),

    Online gingerbread house competitions with biscuits, icing, sweets and logos provide by us, and the creativity provided by the recipients

  • Logo Biscuits and Custom Cookies

    As you know, here at the bakery we specialise in making delicious biscuits, and we love nothing more than bringing some biscuit happiness to our corporate clients. Having worked in sales and marketing for many years, I have a particular passion for taking a brief from our business customers and designing and creating biscuits that add some extra value and ‘stand out’ to marketing activity, events, promotions, or the specific needs of the brief.

    We have worked on some amazing campaigns in the past few months and want to shout out about some of the biscuits we have made.

    We were delighted to be approached by Chantecaille UK. Chantecaille is a global, beauty brand. In their own words “Chantecaille sets a luxurious standard in the world of modern, botanical skincare and cosmetics.” Not only do they develop incredible skincare and make-up (we were fans before we made them biscuits!), they have a conscience and champion causes through the philanthropical side of their business.     We made a range of beautiful, simple image biscuits individually wrapped with white ribbons which they were delighted with. The biscuits worked with their brand image, and were a sweet treat that created an additional element to their event.

    Another company we have worked with recently is Flexitol (and if you have been wearing flip flops as much as we have, you might well find Flexitol will help with those dry heels!) They were looking for fun biscuits for some PR activity that worked with their brand colours. We created feet biscuits complete with individually toes and added they logo to the heel of each one.

    Whatever the occasion, biscuits really do put a smile on people’s faces. They are a simple, delicious and effective way to increase interaction with your brand and your company. We love working on bespoke biscuit commissions and will find a way to make biscuits that work for your brand and the occasion you need them for.
